Eno, one of Ghana's finest female emcees deeply rooted in rap music said she is the best and finest female rapper in Africa.

Known for her pregnant lyrical prowess, energy and efficiency on a beat anytime, any day she clearly stated that most of the female acts in Africa are into singing which makes the rap game male-dominated, therefore she is blowing her horn as the best female rapper in Africa front lining and championing the female rap course.

I spent the last week of August and first week of October 2017 in Johannesburg and Pretoria working on a cultural event organized in by a group of Ghanaians and South African nationals in partnership with the Ghanaian High Commission in Pretoria.

It was a platform to showcase the rich Ghanaian culture to the rest of through a series of events including musical performances, exhibition of arts and craft and workshops on tourism in Ghana.

Though not my first time in one of Africa’s most developed (infrastructure and economy) countries, one of the several things that struck me was how much importance South Africans, not excluding men in certain suburbs across the country placed on their grooming needs – haircut, styling and general looks.

Mathew Kabelo, is a trained editor and public relations professional who works with South African Broadcasting Corporation, the state broadcaster which provides nineteen (19) radio stations and five (5) television platforms broadcasting across South Africa. Mathew, who I have known for almost four years tried to justify the ‘craze’ about looks in South Africa and why men aren’t left out.

Rap and Dance seem to be a lifestyle of every youth. Certain people enjoy listening and dancing to good tunes, whiles others might just love to put beats together to make music.

In all of these, a great atmosphere is built whenever the youth come together to have fun with beats and body moves.

Street life is part of our everyday lifestyle. The craziest moments always happen on campus.

Thus, the essence of having a day set aside for just street life. iSel Media in collaboration with Independence Hall, KNUST, will tomorrow give reasons to to the youth to have fun in the most-friendly way.
